This Is For:
Nominated personnel to become First Aiders in the Workplace to comply with the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Objectives:
To enable students to get help & give safe, prompt & effective First Aid to a casualty in the workplace following an injury or illness using materials to hand and HSE approved first aid equipment.
Certification:
A 3 year Certificate of Competence (Health & Safety Executive Approved) will be awarded on successful completion of the course and assessment.

HSE First Aid at Work.
Our first aid at work training courses are approved by the Health & Safety executive (HSE) and are both fun and informative, our courses include dynamic and realistic casualty simulation which puts the candidates through their paces. We hold the First Aid at Work course every week at our Chester training centre, these courses are held Tuesday - Thursday. On completion of First Aid at Work training courses, candidates will be assessed in Practical and Theory aspects of First Aid to the HSE Approved standard. Successful completion of the First Aid at Work assessment will result in the award of a ‘First Aid At Work’ certificate approved by the Health & Safety executive in line with Health and Safety First Aid Regulations 1981. The First Aid at Work certificate will be valid for three years and should be renewed by attending a two-day First Aid at Work Refresher course before the expiry date of the First Aid at Work certificate.
